| 1949 | Maruzen Sewing Machine Co., Ltd established. Production and distribution of sewing machine and parts start. |

| 1952 | Launched home-use zig-zag machines for the first time in Japan. |
| 1957 | Entered into a long term contract with the giant merchandiser, Sears Roebuck & Co.,(U.S.A.) |
| 1961 | Moriguchi central factory building completed. Annual export sales reached 128,000 machines, becoming the top exporter. |
| 1964 | Annual export sales exceed 354,000 machines. The highest honor for a corporate citizen granted by Japan Export Committee for the excellent export turnover. |
| 1965 | Overseas expansion into Germany and U.K. started, following trade liberalization. |
| 1968 | JIC, Inc. (U.S.A.), the overseas affiliate established. |
| 1969 | European resident office opened in Brussels, Belgium. |
| 1971 | Shinwa Industries Ltd. (Taiwan) established. |
| 1972 | ”Symbol of Excellence award for 5 consecutive years” presented by Sears. |
| 1973 | Total export exceed 5 million units. |
| 1977 | European resident office moved to Dusseldorf, Germany. ”Symbol of Excellence award for 10 consecutive years“ granted by Sears. |
| 1978 | Total export top 7 million units. |
| 1979 | Good design award granted to the electronic sewing machine. |
| 1980 | Good design award granted to the compact machine. |
| 1981 | Total sales of compact machines exceeded 1 million units. |
| 1985 | MINI JAGUAR sewing machine introduced. |
| 1989 | Corporate name changed to Jaguar Co.,Ltd. |
| 1992 | Jaguar Zhuhai Co.,Ltd. established in Guangdong, China as Jaguar’s production site in China. Sewmaster Co. Ltd established. |
| 1997 | Jaguar Zhuhai obtained ISO 9002 certification. |
| 1999 | Corporate name changed to Jaguar International Corporation. Attained the second largest sales of home sewing machines in Japan in the first half of the year. |
| 2000 | The first microprocessor-controlled sewing machine introduced. The first computer-controlled machine with Game Boy introduced. |
| 2001 | Jaguar Zhuhai obtains ISO 9001 (2000) certification. |
| 2002 | DQS (Digital Quick-threading System) machine with a newly-developed quick and easy threading system introduced. |
| 2006 | Jaguar Zhuhai obtains ISO 14001 (2004) certification |
| 2007 | Jaguar International Corporation Hanoi established in Hanoi, Vietnam as Jaguar’s production site in Vietnam. |
| 2008 | Jaguar International Corporation Hanoi started mass-production. |
| 2009 | Jaguar International Corporation Hanoi obtains ISO 9001(2008), 14001 (2004) certification |
